Enjoying the challenge of the ascent, James Malmstrom looks forward to any opportunity to go trekking in the mountains. This passion has led him to venture as far away as Africa’s Kilimanjaro, Peru’s Machu Picchu, and the Annapurna Mountains of Nepal. Likewise, he has summited several peaks closer to home in the Mountain West. Sharing this love for the outdoors with his wife, Stephanie, they are frequently found out-of-doors, admiring the beauty and wonder of nature with their three children.
As co-founder of Eclipse Product Development, James is an integral part of a contract engineering firm that specializes in medical product design and development, and has received numerous patents and design awards for his efforts and ingenuity. Educational degrees include a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University, and a MS in Bioengineering from the University of Utah.
In more recent years, James has thoroughly enjoyed the educational journey as a PhD candidate in Constitutional Law at George Wythe University. He can often be found pondering symbolism in Hebrew, seeking wisdom from the lessons of history, building certainty from theology, and appreciating truth from multiple perspectives.
